Subject 1: Strategy and Marketing
The course is aimed at helping students look at the entire marketing mix in light of the strategy of the firm. It is most helpful to students pursuing careers in which they need to look at the firm as a whole. Examples include consultants, investment analysts, entrepreneurs, and product managers. Objectives: Identify, evaluate, and develop marketing strategies. Evaluate a firm’s opportunities. Anticipate competitive dynamics. Evaluate the sustainability of competitive advantages.
Subject 2: International Finance
Understand international finance from both corporate and international banking viewpoints, as well as financial constraints on international business and differences between domestic and international environments. Examine the international monetary system, the differences between foreign trade and foreign investments, international sales terms, measurement and management of foreign-exchange exposure, international financial markets and banking, import/export financing, current-asset management and international taxation.
Subject 3: International Business Management
Examine successful international business strategies, and learn how to internationalize your business and your career. Study the basics of marketing, economics, finance and business negotiation in a global context. This entrepreneurial-focused course prepares you for participation in larger international businesses.
